Wayne Ostlie joined the Minnesota Land Trust in 2015 as its Director of Land Protection, and provides the organization with expertise in strategic planning, partnership development and program management. Prior to joining the Land Trust, Wayne spent 8 years leading and growing Great River Greening’s conservation program in Minnesota as its Director of Conservation Programs, and 19 years with The Nature Conservancy, where he led its Great Plains and Iowa science programs, led and mentored staff in regional conservation planning exercises across the globe, and served as the organization’s interface between its science and government relations programs. Wayne holds a Master of Arts degree in Science from the University of Kansas.
