Teresa H. Horton, Ph.D. is a research associate professor with the Laboratory for Human Biology Research at Northwestern University. Dr. Horton is an environmental physiologist specializing in research on how exposure to natural landscapes has restorative effects on human health and well-being. She also coordinates the Nature, Culture and Human Health (NCH2) collaborative, a coalition of organizations and individuals across the Chicago region working to improve quality of life through the outdoors.
