Robert Bull serves as president of The Compass Group, guiding the company’s consulting services and driving strategic growth and development. Robert's career spans nearly three decades of fundraising, resulting in more than $2 billion in philanthropic gifts across the sectors of conservation, education, historic preservation, and performing arts. Robert’s impact through fundraising extends beyond client service into education, teaching individuals and institutions next-level success through his dynamic speaking, presenting, and lecturing in the classroom and beyond. A longtime champion of historic sites focused on African American heritage, Robert serves as an official lecturer for both the National Trust for Historic Preservation, National Museum of African American History and Culture, and Association of African American Museums. Through these roles, Robert engages with historic sites on the campuses of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) nationwide to elevate the fundraising capabilities of these culturally and historically important organizations. Robert holds a master of science degree in organizational leadership and management from Antioch University New England and a bachelor of arts degree in theatre and arts administration from Goucher College. He has completed coursework at Antioch University in pursuit of his doctoral degree within the Graduate School of Leadership and Change.
