Nick Bancks joined the Minnesota Land Trust in 2012 and serves as program manager for the organization's Avon Hills and Southeastern Minnesota Blufflands programs. He works with landowners to protect ecologically significant lands and advance the goals of each program with partners. Prior to the Land Trust, Nick work with Sibley County's Watershed Grants program, Heron Lake Watershed District and the Forestry Department at the University of Minnesota. Nick holds a master's of science degree in natural resources Science and management from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and a master's of arts in library and info sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
