Mary-Carson Stiff is director of policy at Wetlands Watch where she specializes in the National Flood Insurance Program and sea level rise adaptation planning and policy. She is a Certified Floodplain Manager, chair of the Coastal Virginia Community Rating System Workgroup and board member of the Virginia Land Conservation Foundation and the Living River Trust. Before joining Wetlands Watch, she worked as Consulting Manager for Policy & Programs for the Virginia Coastal Policy Center at William & Mary Law School, where she obtained a juris doctorate in 2013. Mary-Carson graduated from Bates College with a bachelor's in 2008.
