Marissa Moore works as the very first high school intern at Montezuma Land Conservancy. She is a long-time resident of southwestern Colorado and is currently a senior at Southwest Open School in Cortez. Her Native American heritage includes Northern Cheyenne, Ute Mountain Ute, and Otoe-Missouria. After completing the Agriculture Immersion Program at MLC’s farm in 2018, she is eagerly exploring careers in conservation and is sharing her job experience with other youth.
