Marian Vernon is the Sierra Meadow adaptation leader at Point Blue Conservation Science. Marian works to develop climate-smart resources to inform strategic conservation planning efforts and meadow restoration projects on public and private land in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. Prior to joining Point Blue in 2017, Marian was the Strategic Initiatives Analyst at Sonoma Land Trust. She holds a master's degree in environmental science from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
