Kevin Redding is executive director at Piedmont Land Conservancy (PLC) based in Greensboro, NC. He has served in that role for 12 years and has worked in the land trust community since 2001. PLC has been actively involved in the NRDAR program’s response to the Dan River coal ash spill in 2014. Now five years post-spill PLC has been able to purchase several high priority projects in one of the region’s most ecologically significant watersheds. Kevin has a bachelor's degree in natural resource management from Western Carolina University and an MPA from East Carolina University. In addition to his day job, Kevin teaches Environmental and Natural Resource Policy classes at UNC Greensboro.
