Katie Konchar

Katie Konchar is the project manager for The Nature Conservancy’s Gulf of Mexico Whole Systems Program. She has 15 years of experience in applied ecological research concerning biological diversity, climate change, land use change and habitat restoration. Katie has been implementing and managing estuarine habitat restoration and shoreline resilience projects in Florida for the last 8 years and is currently serving as the project manager for a suite of nature-based solutions under development at Tyndall Air Force Base. Katie earned a master of science in botany from University of Wisconsin and a master of science in ecological restoration from the University of Florida.
