Karen Sughrue is a biologist in the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Branch at Environmental Protection Agency headquarters. In this role, she will be working to further expand the use of the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to address nonpoint source pollution issues and bolster climate resiliency. She has a bachelor's degree in biology from East Tennessee State University, and graduate degrees in life sciences and ecology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Pennsylvania State University, respectively.
