Jon Chapman is the stewardship manager at the Maryland Environmental Trust, and has worked there since 2003. He has a bachelor's in biology and society (emphasis on natural resources policy) from Cornell University and master's in forest science from UW-Madison. After 10 years of academic research in New York, Puerto Rico, Wisconsin, and Woods Hole, MA , Jon moved his family to Maryland in 1992 to work with the State Forest Conservation Program at the MD DNR. He has served on several park, conservancy and land trust boards in the Annapolis area.
