Craig Owen White is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Virginia School of Law and is the partner in charge of the Cleveland office of Hahn Loeser & Parks LLC, a Cleveland-based law firm. Craig’s legal practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, enterprise governance, financing and licensing issues, both domestically and internationally. In addition to his legal practice, Craig is an active participant in private and non-profit enterprises including serving on the board of directors of Great Lakes Cheese, one of the largest privately-owned food companies in the U.S and chairing the board of trustees of the Western Reserve Land Conservancy. Craig is also the immediate past vice chairman of the International Senior Lawyers Project, an internationally acclaimed provider of pro bono legal services in developing countries in support of the rule of law and equitable economic development (the ISLP). Craig also lectures domestically and internationally on issues of global commerce and enterprise governance including an ISLP commercial law lecture series in Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa. In 2021, the ISLP named Craig its Global Impact Volunteer. Craig also recently concluded his service as a member of the Trade Advisory Committee on Africa (TACA), a congressionally-mandated committee created to provide advice to the United States Trade Representative on matters impacting U.S. trade policies with the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa. Craig was appointed to the TACA during the Obama administration and was re-appointed under the Trump administration. Craig served as chair of the TACA from 2020 until the end of his term in March 2022. Craig and his wife live in Novelty, Ohio.
