Brandon Hayes has earned a reputation for creative, hands-on, grounded communications and strategy solutions in the non-profit sector. In 2019, he launched Bold Bison, LLC to provide forward-thinking communications, strategy consulting, and facilitation services to the conservation movement. For seven years, he led communications and strategy at Openlands, Chicago's regional land trust and one of its leading conservation organizations. Before Openlands, Brandon managed communications at Marwen, which provides high-quality visual arts training to underserved Chicago youth, and he was a publicist at Goodman Theatre. Brandon is a photographer and essayist, chronicling all sixty-one US National Parks and writing about conservation issues. He is a long-time volunteer for the International Crane Foundation's annual Midwest Crane Count. Brandon has a bachelor's in humanities with concentrations in art history, english, and Hhstory from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. He has a certificate in Training, Facilitation, and Consulting from the Center for New Leadership at Marlboro College.
