Mass Audubon has over 120 years of experience as a conservation organization, dedicated to protecting the nature of Massachusetts through our wildlife research and conservation efforts, advocacy work and educational programs. Leveraging our unique strengths as a known and trusted source of information, Mass Audubon has undertaken its first-ever strategic climate action planning process. This action plan will help to guide Mass Audubon's efforts to tackle the most pressing issue of our time - climate change - while also building upon our unique strengths and opportunities as an organization. This session will walk you through key aspects of Mass Audubon's Climate Action Plan, and highlight examples of our unique land protection successes that have helped to enhance our climate change efforts, among other organizational priorities. By discussing your own organization's unique strengths and key resources, we will discuss how land trusts can serve as catalysts for climate change action in the communities you serve.
