This session will provide an overview of how The Land Trust for Tennessee organizes and manages its data while providing concrete examples to support the generalized overview. The land trust identifies distinct areas of data: development, spatial and project information. These three categories accurately capture the data flowing in and out of the organization over time. Each category is uniquely characterized and fulfills a necessary niche within the organization while also playing a critical role in the checks and balances of the data trio. Data management is a critical facet of record keeping across the organization. Audience discussion/questions welcomed throughout the session.
